What is ground output?
The instructions for most of our company's high-voltage power supplies indicate "high-voltage power supply output to ground." A "high voltage output power supply to ground" usually has only one high voltage output connector. Usually the other end of the high-voltage circuit opposite to the high-voltage output is connected to the casing of the power supply inside the high-voltage power supply. In the application, the high-voltage power supply casing must be connected to the system ground wire through a special safety ground wire. The high-voltage power supply is designed to have a pair of ground outputs. The purpose is to simplify design and facilitate manufacturing. All control signals and detection signals are grounded, which makes their application more convenient. It is not possible to stack two or more high-voltage power supplies with outputs to ground to form a high-voltage power supply that outputs a higher voltage by connecting the outputs in series. The high voltage output to ground cannot be connected to other voltage sources or other reference voltages.
